US singer Katy Perry has dedicated her new video to a project helping gay-bullying victims created in response to a series of teenage suicides. The Californian-born star follows the example of fellow singer Ke$ha, who announced last week that a song on her forthcoming album is a message to gay teens affected by bullies.

In response to Perry’s dedication, the It Get’s Better team said: “Thanks Katy! We look forward to hearing more from you and your support for the LGBT community and this movement. Thanks for joining the over 100,000 at the It Gets Better Project!” , Pink Paper reports.
