Ireland’s largest LGBT festival is under way with tens of thousands of people expected to attend a host of events across Belfast over the coming 10 days.
The official launch of the Belfast Pride Festival took place at Belfast City Hall earlier tonight with the Belfast Pride Awards, which showcase and celebrate some of the greatest contributions made by members of the LGBT community.
The action continues on Saturday with the Out and About Annual Pride Walk starting at Mynt car park, Dunbar Link, at 11.45am or Malone House at Barnett’s Park car park at 12.15pm.
The highlight of the 25th Belfast Pride Festival takes place in the city centre next Saturday with the parade which sets off from Custom House Square at 12 noon.
