Today is the pre start of this year’s Pride Festival in Stockholm, Sweden. The 18th pride festival since Pride Stockholm started in 1998.
The streets will be filled with colour and celebration, but who is really going in the Pride Parade in Stockholm ?
Six out of ten in the Pride Parade are women, four out of ten are heterosexual and eight out of ten were born in Sweden, writes Svenska Dagbladet. These new figures comes from a research team at the University of Gothenburg.
Every third person takes a spontaneous decision to join the bandwagon. 42 percent of last year’s participants were between 30 and 49 years old while 35 percent were under 29 years.
