The Norwegian police believe a young girl (16) assaulted a girl (18) who was drunk and asleep.

Now the 16-year-old girl accused of abuse and must meet in a district court in southern Norway next week.

It was an autumn night in 2014 that the alleged assault took place at an address in south Norway, according to the indictment. The 16-year-old girl should there have abused the then 17 year old girl.

According to the indictment, was the alleged victim girl drunk and was asleep – so she was unable to oppose the action. The two girls should have known each other well.

Accused

Lawyer Mette Yvonne Larsen defends the accused 16-year-old. She says to Norwegian newspaper VG that the client refuses culpability.

Victim

She takes it course heavily, but she is now looking forward to being finished with the matter, said the victim’s counsel Christian Flemmen Johansen at Advokatfirmaet Elden VG.

It’s normal in Norway to anonymise location and names with under age victims and the accused. This case is going forward for closed court doors.
