Ahead of the 61st Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Sweden this May, six competing acts will take to the stage to battle for the honour of representing the United Kingdom at the world’s largest singing competition.

Eurovision: You Decide

Broadcast live from the O2 Forum Kentish Town, London and hosted by Mel Giedroyc, this 90-minute UK Eurovision extravaganza will feature performances by the six competing acts before the voting lines open and the public are invited to choose the song and act that will represent the United Kingdom at this year’s contest in Sweden.

Current contest champion and Eurovision 2016 co-host Måns Zelmerlöw will also appear, to sing his winning song from last year’s contest, Heroes, plus former United Kingdom Eurovision Song Contest entry Katrina will also perform with the winning song from the 1997 competition, Love Shine A Light.

The six competing acts that will perform on the night will be exclusively revealed on the Ken Bruce show on BBC Radio 2 on Monday 22 February.
