In true Mancunian spirit, some of the best businesses in the city are offering top offers for pledge band holders over The Big Weekend. 13 of Manchester favourite’s companies are dishing out generous discounts all weekend in the name of Manchester Pride from Friday 26th ’til Monday 29th August.
Businesses both big and small have embraced the fundraising fun, helping Pride-goers have the biggest and best festival celebrations yet. Eateries, beauty havens, travel companies, hotels and bars are all embracing the party spirit, meaning you can grab a bargain while enjoying all the entertainment The Big Weekend has to offer.
Manchester Pride asks the community to wear their bands with pride as they pledge to; help Manchester Pride create a safe, world class LGBT celebration, support Manchester Pride’s commitment to raising essential funds for LGBT and HIV causes in Greater Manchester and support the organisation’s campaign for greater LGBT equality.

Taking the stress out of your travel plans, Metrolink is offering All Big Weekend wristband holders free travel within the City Zone on the Metrolink service. Valid for weekend ticket holders only (not day tickets).
The Grill On New York Street/ Grill On The Alley
City centre eatery The Grill on New York Street is offering all wrist band holders 20% off all food when you visit during The Big Weekend.
The Pen & Pencil
Mad Men style Northern Quarter bar, The Pen and Pencil will be offering up a special rainbow cocktail and rainbow pancake in celebration of The Big Weekend! The bar, situated on the corner of Hilton and Tariff St will be offering each special for £5 each to wristband holders, and £7.50 for everyone else. They’ll be available all bank holiday weekend from Friday 26th to Monday 29th August.

If you’re peckish come down and treat yourself to 20% off Food & Drink by just flashing your wristband.
Double Tree By Hilton
Urban Bar will knock 25% off your food and drink bill when wearing your Manchester Pride wristband.

If bowling is your thing, make sure you wear your wristband and make a combined reservation (bowl + dine) for 50% off food.
Kickstarting the weekend early, Fragrance Shop is doing a massive 20% off promotion on Thursday 25th lunchtime. Plus all weekend between 1-3pm your can freshen up and grab your favourite cologne with this generous discount.
If you need to relax into the weekend, Malmaison has you covered. Ticket holders will receive 20% off in the spa, a free glass of fizz with the Summer Prix Fixe menu, or a complimentary glass of house wine with Sunday Brunch.
Party prep is made easy if you visit Kiehl’s over the weekend. A Pride wristband entitles you to 5 samples with any consultation, or an exclusive complimentary barber service or facial when you spend £35 or over. Offer valid during the The Big Weekend until 31st August 2016.
Throughout The Big Weekend, Tattu is offering a 20% discount for all diners sporting a Manchester Pride wristband. Available all day, lunch/dinner, Friday 26th – Monday 29th August 2016. Not available in conjunction with any other offer, and not applicable when dining from the lunch menu.

The Manchester Pride Festival is an award-winning four-day event celebrating LGBT life. The event takes place in August, with The Big Weekend running from Friday 26 to Monday 29 August and the Parade on Saturday 27 August.
The Big Weekend tickets are on sale now, priced at £25 for weekend tickets. Day, family and children’s tickets are also available. Tickets are exchanged for Pledge Bands at the festival providing guests with access to the event, including the Main Arena, Sackville Gardens, the Gaydio Dance Arena and the Expo and help Manchester Pride raise essential funds for LGBT and HIV causes in Greater Manchester.
