Simon Fuller has created major international TV successes like “Idol,” “So You Think You Can Dance” and was also the man behind the pop group Spice Girls.

Now he has bought the rights to produce “Shame” for the American television market. The plan is to create an American season already during 2017 according to NRK.

One thing are 100 % sure, you will not be able to see the SHAME/SKAM around the world like you can with the Original SKAM. In America is all about the money.

And I’m a bit afraid that the American version will be sugar coated, remember this is for the land of the free with lot of limitations – this is the country that need to beep when someone courses… you know the American drill… So you shouldn’t expect the same raw storyline as you have been used to… The original will always be the best!

You can read more about SKAM here.

SKAM is available all around the world on skam.p3.no – no geo locking like U.S TV stations do (but still no English subtitles).
