Ugandan asylum seeker attempting to prove that he is gay, but the Norwegian police wants to send him back to Uganda before the verdict in the court case has been served.

Asylum

Just before midday Friday, a 24 year old asylum seeker from Uganda was arrested inside the courtroom of Court of Appeal ( Borgarting lagmannsrett) in Oslo.

He was arrested by two none uniform officers from the police Immigration Service (Politiets utlendingsenhet) , which led him out the back door, immediately after the court was adjourned.

According to Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet , the plan was that the applicant asylum seeker should be deported to Uganda this Sunday.

The last two days has the asylum seeker applicant been in court, trying to prove that he is gay and that he therefore is entitled to protection and be able to stay in Norway.

Norwegian immigration authorities thinks that the applicant only pretends he’s gay, and he has done so since he came to Norway in 2014.

It’s well known that Uganda is one of the world worst to live in as gay or LGBTQ person.
