Last Saturday morning, graffiti and a swastika were scrawled in chalk on the outside walls of ‘The George’ on George’s Street in the Irish Capital Dublin.

Management later removed the graffiti but a man in his twenties has since been detained and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station (police) where he’s been questioned in connection with criminal damage to the venue.

The vandalism was spotted by Twitter user @ConanGShore as he went by The George Saturday morning.

The George are our favourite spot when we are in town.
