Mum Paula says she feels they have been targeted for going public with their story.

Homophobia

The family of a young West Belfast man who has suffered three years of abuse because of his sexuality have had their car vandalised in an overnight attack.

Paula Devine‘s son Tony has been attacked in the street and had his home in the Ross Road area vandalised for three years by homophobic gangs.

Now just days after bravely going public with their story on Belfast Live just last week and speaking on BBC Stephen Nolan show on Thursday, Paula’s car has been destroyed in an overnight attack.

“We appeal to anyone that may have any information or may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Lower Falls area to contact Woodbourne Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Or, alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
