Margaret Berger represented Norway last time Eurovision visited Sweden in 2013 and now she is back with a brand new single,  Apologize, on her own label.

Margaret Berger - Apologize

Margaret Berger (30) grew up with beautiful Norwegian nature surroundings on a island called Hitra outside Trondheim in the middle of Norway. She became household name in Norway in 2004 when she got the second place in Norwegian Idol‘s second season. Since then she has been working tirelessly with music.

She got Norway the fourth place in Eurovision in 2013 with the song “I Feed You My Love“.

Margaret Berger has chosen to release her album on her own label, and if there’s one word to best describe Berger 2016, the obvious choice is ”independent” – something clearly emphasised thematically in the first of several upcoming track releases.

In the cross section between artist and person lies Apologize, a single as uncompromising as it is soul searching. A painful, yet honest and personal confrontation where one re-emerges both stronger and wiser. The lyrics reflect the sincerity within Berger and how she instead of fighting her demons, embrace them and make them the undercurrent in her songwriting.

I love Margaret Berger’s new single (have it on repeat)  and if you do too, you can buy it on iTunes. We also added it to our Spotify playlist.
