Between the 20th and 23rd of April 2017, a Fourth International Intersex Forum was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The world’s largest intersex human rights forum to date was attended by 40 representatives of intersex organisations and independent advocates across all regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, Post-Soviet countries, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and Oceania. The depth and breadth of diversity and global intersex representation at the forum was groundbreaking.

A Gay Pride march in Paris Saturday has caused a row in France’s far-right National Front (FN), with some student supporters backing an event decried by a party vice-chairman.
Sunday’s (26 June) Pride March in Istanbul was cancelled after it was banned by Istanbul’s governor. German MEP Terry Reintke, 17 activists and 2 international supporters were briefly arrested and later released. The arrests happened after participants gathered in the streets of Istanbul. Police dispersed the crowd.
For the second time in a row, a Pride March is scheduled to take place in Kiev this Sunday. From the European Parliament, Vice-President of the LGBTI Intergroup Sophie in ‘t Veld, and members Ana Gomes and Rebecca Harms will march along for equality and human rights.
