Randerson Cares Elder Services expands services to LGBT Communities
Leading New York City Senior Care Management firm, Randerson Cares, brings vital dignity to all seniors, offering new services aimed at caregivers, families and older people with specific, but often unmet, needs. Randerson Cares is in the process of developing a new website to help these communities determine unique strategies and types of care that a LGBT elder or caregiver, an elder or caregiver in recovery or an elder or caregiver with disabilities may need.

In addition, we provide training and support to other service providers who have not been successful in engaging these communities”.

Her work has influenced how various New York City health care and social services agencies respond to the needs of these most vulnerable and often invisible members of society.
Randerson Cares delivers care coordination and support services that meet the needs of seniors, caregivers, LGBT people and people with disabilities, while preserving their dignity and in appropriate situations, fosters their need to remain either sober or in recovery.
Randerson Cares establishes a new professional level of services designed to screen, arrange and monitor services for all clients. They assist clients in finding and managing home based services, such as in-home caregivers, nursing homes, assisted living residences, physicians and nurses that provide quality care and respect. Randerson Cares also assists in obtaining financial and legal services, providing referrals and, as needed, assistance with scheduling services. Randerson Cares also provides clients and caregivers with guidance, counseling and support groups. They can also act as a liaison for families who live far away from the senior.
