Ireland AM’s Alan Hughes will sign the papers with his long-term love Karl Broderick this Friday in one of the most high-profile events since civil partnerships were legalised in Ireland.
Last April the TV presenter got engaged to his partner of 18 years, after songwriter Karl popped the question at their Malahide home, independent.ie reports.
