Lesbians face many issues in society, and now have a place they can call home, they have a safe place for sharing there thoughts on coming out, and getting support from other members within the community.
If you know how to use Facebook you know how to use QueerKat, QueerKat has it all, the site is interactive allowing girls to talk and chat, post videos and music, find groups and events. Lesbian Businesses can share their pages, websites and events.
Katherine Schneider is the creator of QueerKat.com and KittyBar Lesbian Nightclub in Las Vegas. Over the last 6 months she has built a social media fan base of over 50,000 followers within the Gay/Lesbian Community and now wants to give lesbians a better way to connect within their scene.
“I am constantly frustrated by the lack of options we have in our Lesbian Community, I initially created QueerKat for the LGBT Community as a whole, however seeing so many sites catering to the Gay Scene with very few for the girls, I re-launched the new QueerKat August 26th 2011 as a dedicated Lesbian Site.”
QueerKat is a free site for members and businesses, it is open to all Lesbians 13 and up, and is a great place for Lesbians who are “Coming Out” to share their thoughts and find other members who can relate to the issues Lesbians can face in society.
“I wanted to create a safe place where Lesbians find what they are looking for, whether it’s making friends, finding support with Lesbian Issues, or a social event to go to.”
QueerKat gives Lesbians a place to share their voice, and an online site they can call home.
