Ex-Wimbledon striker John Fashanu has told talkSPORT that he believes his brother Justin wasn’t gay, and that he may have made up stories about his private life.
The former England striker’s sibling, who committed suicide in 1998 following allegations about his private life, revealed all about his homosexuality in an interview in 1990.
But John has now insisted that Justin was only interested in publicity for himself and making up stories, including those about his sexuality, to get money and attention, talkSPORT reports.
So why is it so important for John to say this now ? Because he was a bad example of a brother in 1990 ? or is it just for publicity ? or is it his daughter’s BBC documentary about her uncle that put him in a very bad light the reason. Or is that he doesn’t want to have gay brother ?
