Fundraising charity, Manchester Pride are delighted to announce that guests attending April’s Supersonic fundraiser will be treated to an elegant performance by the critically acclaimed artist, Ren Harvieu.
Broughton born and bred, Salford-lass Ren has taken the music industry by storm, being hailed as one of the UK’s leading emerging artists. Her album Through the Night was released in May 2012, debuting at number five in the album charts.
Ren has given show-stopping performances with the BBC Philharmonic as part of the Radio 2 James Bond Special. She has appeared at V-Festival, Bestival, T In the Park and also supported the likes of James Morrison, The Courtneers and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.
John Stewart, Chief Executive for Manchester Pride said, “We are thrilled that Ren is supporting our fundraising event. A local girl, with an extraordinary talent, Ren has planned an outstanding set for guests, with the unique backdrop of iconic supersonic jet, Concorde.”
Ren will join Brit-Pop band, The Feeling at Supersonic, which takes place on Saturday 06 April 2013, inside the lofty surroundings of the Concorde Hangar at Manchester Airport.
