Ireland: Revised Bill Will Allow Legal Recognition of 16 and 17 Years Olds
On Tuesday (17th June) Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton, published a revised General Scheme of the Gender Recognition Bill following Cabinet approval. The new scheme provides a pathway for legal recognition for 16 and 17 years olds.
EuroGames Stockholm to host the 2015 IGLA World Aquatics Championships
EuroGames Stockholm is pleased to announce that it will host the 2015 International Gay & Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) World Championships in conjunction with its cultural, sport and political programme. The aquatics championships held from the 5th to the 9th of August will include swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming and will be the world’s largest LGBTQ aquatics event of 2015.
Luxembourg Passes Marriage Equality Legislation
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, today commended the government of Luxembourg for passing legislation that will make it the 19th nation to grant full marriage rights to all of its citizens.
