Police area treating an assault on a 16-year-old woman in Glasgow city centre as a "homophobic crime".

The teenager was with a 19-year-old woman in St Enoch Square when they were approached and verbally abused by a man at about 01:00 on 12 July.

The man then assaulted the 16-year-old who required treatment for a facial injury, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
