Erasure duo Vince Clarke and Andy Bell take time out from their very busy schedule to chat to Sara Cox about their 80s.

Erasure

The duo have been making polished pop music for over 30 years and achieved nine top 20 hits in the 80s including A Little Respect, Sometimes and Ship Of Fools. They have sold over 25 million albums worldwide, and their new album, World Be Gone, is out now. The new single, Love You To The Sky, is a celebration of their participation in the gay rights movement in the 1980s. Andy Bell was one of the first openly gay pop stars of the 1980s. Vince and Andy are the special guests on Robbie Williams‘ tour right now.

Also on the show, the Megamix lands in 1986 and Sara has videos from Run DMC, The Bangles, Kate Bush, Duran Duran, Irene Cara…and many, many more.

Listeners can also watch the show on the BBC Red Button.
