Indonesian court rules against criminalising gay sex

The top court in Indonesia has ruled against a petition which was calling for gay sex and sex outside marriage to be illegal.

The case was brought forward by the Family Love Alliance which claims there is a huge amount of immoral behaviour in the country and this is spread by social media and the internet.

Judges voted against the petition by five to four at the Constitutional Court and members of the group wept at the verdict, according to The Independent.
