Only «Until Your Season Dries» takes the harshness away and presents the break up in soft, poetic slow motion». After the storm comes peace and quiet. There is something so infinitely beautiful in the afterlife of a relationship».
Delicate and understated, and showcasing Thorunn’s fragile vocal to beautiful effect, «Until Your Season Dries» is melancholic indie pop at its best. It’s taken from their debut album «Glow», released in Europe last year and finally released here in the UK on July 7.
«The music business feels so lavish and overproduced. With our album I just wanted to take a step back and reduce it to almost nothing», says Thorunn. «We work with layers. It’s like baking a cake» adds Mike Koster. Radiant, minimalistic and subtle – the album’s melodies are carried by Thorunn’s crystal-clear voice, filled with tenderness and warmth. They instantly set such an intimate mood it is no wonder that the album has received such critical acclaim across Europe.
