Elijah Daniel found a way around Donald Trump’s ban on U.S. embassies flying the gay pride flag and, it involves buying an actual town.
The 25-year-old YouTuber announced that he has bought the tiny town of Hell, Michigan, as a way of rebelling against the Trump administration’s ban on rainbow flags flying from U.S. embassies during the month of gay pride.
Elijah told his Twitter followers on Monday: ‘Ahead of pride month Trump’s administration put a ban on embassy’s flying pride flags. ‘So as of today, I am now the owner of Hell, Michigan. I bought the whole town.
My first act as owner, I have renamed my town to Gay Hell, MI.’ In the ultimate diss to the ban, Elijah added: ‘The only flags allowed to fly are pride.’
