A 16-year-old boy was repeatedly punched in the face during a ‘frightening’ homophobic attack at a fun fair.
The first of two incidents happened on the night at this year’s Michaelmas Fair in Abingdon on Tuesday, October 8, oxfordmail.co.uk reports.
At around 9.45pm, the victim – a 16-year-old boy – was approached by a group of youths.
According to the newspaper, one of the boys from the group, who is described as black around 16 to 19 years old, assaulted the boy in an what police say was an ‘unprovoked homophobic attack’.
