Brooklyn’s very own retro synthpop multi-instrumentalist/producer, Aradia, is back with a reinvigorated dance remix of her past song «No One Can Stop You».

The remix falls in the Slaphouse sub-genre of EDM, one of the hottest genres in the dance club scene featuring heavy layering bass and jazzy funk elements.

«I wanted to put out a remix of one of my existing songs, and ‘No One Can Stop You‘ definitely got a lot of positive responses the first time around», Aradia says. «I think people vibe with the empowering lyrics and upbeat feel, so a dance remix felt like the right thing».

With the way the events of the world are unfolding, we need uplifting songs and Aradia has certainly become a master of creating them.

«I think that people are looking for a break from the downtrodden ’emo’ ethos of our time—people who want to feel happy for a change, to feel inspired, to feel like there’s something more to life and that it’s accessible to us all—will resonate with this song and all my upcoming music», she says.
