The police have issued a broad recommendation and said that all Pride events should be canceled. Not everyone will follow that advice.

Across the Norway, various forms of Pride events are planned in the coming days.

The police have previously recommended that they should be canceled, because PST believes that the country is in an extraordinary threat situation, especially aimed at LGBTQ Community.

Nevertheless, many still choose to carry out the events, newspaper Dagbladet reports.

Among those who have announced that they will not follow the Norwegian Polices advice these local Prides are Mo i Rana, Trondheim, Trysil and Haugesund.

Elsewhere, such as in Kristiansand, Sandefjord and Sunndal, the planned events are canceled or postponed, in line with police recommendations, according to Dagbladet.
