Sweden is a new territory to order a local version of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the first from Scandinavia, as the hit format’s producer World of Wonder.
Swedish public service broadcaster SVT commissioned the show and it will also premiere in the U.S., UK and other territories on WOW Presents Plus, World of Wonder’s SVoD, in addition to airing on SVT and SVT Play. Local indie Mastiff AB will produce, deadline.com reports.
According to deadline.com, Drag Race Sweden will be produced in conjunction with World of Wonder Productions with Bailey, Charles, Barbato and Tom Campbell exec producing.

The program will premiere on SVT/SVT Play in the spring of 2023 in Sweden.
