The theme of the duet is how staring at our phones may make us feel lonely and empty. It’s about the terrible erasure of the final remnants of a connection that are still present on our screens, as well as the ray of optimism provided by a passing conversation, text, or phone call that prevents us from feeling totally alone.
Jaako is a Berlin-based pop junkie. In recent years, he has established himself as a producer and songwriter. (including Leopold, Hilla). Earlier in 2021, MKSM and jaako released their single «2021»; later this year, jaako will release his debut EP.
