Senior Defence Department executives raised concerns about the growing number of state legislation they claim target the LGBTQ population during a celebration of Pride Month at the Pentagon on Wednesday. They warned that the trend is harming the armed services.
«LGBTQ+ and other diverse populations are being attacked merely for being different. hatred for the sake of hatred,” declared Gil Cisneros, the Pentagon’s undersecretary for readiness and people, who also serves as the department of defences lead officer for diversity and inclusion, politico.com reports.
