Scandal’s Kerry Washington has called for unity in the support of equal rights at an awards event promoting the gay community in the media.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), the nation’s lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organisation, today announced it will honour Golden Globe-winning actress Kim Cattrall at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco, presented by RÖKK Vodka.
Tina Fey, Patrick Wilson, Denis O’Hare, Pauley Perrette, Wilson Cruz, Jane Velez-Mitchell, and Lawrence O’Donnell were among the celebrities who joined the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) as it honoured Ricky Martin, Russell Simmons, and the best in television and journalism last night at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York, hosted by Andy Cohen.
