The Empowering Spirits Foundation, a U.S national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organisation, today applauded the New Hampshire Legislature for voting in favour of the same-sex marriage bill amendment, which provides language to protect religious institutions not wanting to participate in same-sex marriages.
