One of Turkey’s LGBT Internet communities, hadigayri.com, have been blocked by the Turkish government again, Telecommunication Directorate (TIB), just because it's a LGBT community.

The website has more than 200,000 members. According to it’s administrators and members, the sites doesn’t contain any pornographic or criminal content.

TIB blocks websites without providing any information to the owners or issuing a demand to remove certain content, a representative of  hadigayri.com said to MySoCalledGayLife.com, and calling these actions unlawful and arbitrary.

The judiciary previously rejected the demand to close down Lambda İstanbul and Kaos GL, these city’s two main LGBT organisations. A representative said the new decision came after previous attempts to close down the online networks of members of these organisations.

“Both sites have a wide variety of content, with sections such as gay news, commentary, film, literature, radio, health and forums. These two Turkish websites has approximately 225,000 members.

TIB is forcing Turkish LGBT websites to appeal every blocking decision,” they said in a joint statement.
