TLA Releasing Acquires Worldwide Rights to “Make The Yuletide Gay”
TLA Releasing has acquired worldwide entertainment rights to Make the Yuletide Gay, the new family Christmas comedy feature from Guest House Films. The film was written and directed by Rob Williams, and produced by the Guest House Films team of Williams, Rodney Johnson and Matthew Montgomery.
“After TLA Releasing’s success with Back Soon and 3-Day Weekend, we are very excited to continue our relationship with its acquisition of Make The Yuletide Gay,” said Williams. “Our goal was to bring something new to the Christmas movie genre, and I hope we have created a feel-good film that gay youth can watch with their parents during the holidays.”
Make The Yuletide Gay stars newcomer Keith Jordan, hot Canadian actor Adamo Ruggiero (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Little House on the Prairie veteran Alison Arngrim, Daytime Emmy Award-winner Ian Buchanan, Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation), and gay film favorites Derek Long (Socket, 3-Day Weekend) and Kelly Keaton (Back Soon).
“Make The Yuletide Gay is by far our biggest production to date, and we are very proud of the results,” said Johnson. “The movie sends out a powerful message about love and acceptance that will resonate with gay and straight viewers alike.”
