Yuzima release’s “It’s the Music Cupid” while working on LP

Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter Yuzima Philip is working on a debut album titled “Its Wonderful”. Yuzima, who goes by his Swahili-derived given first name, has already released two well-received ep’s “The Cosmonaut” and “Yuzima the EP” in 2008 and 2009.

Attracting reviews from blogs like Treblezine and Short and Sweet. Now Yuzima is readying to release a first single from “Its Wonderful!” called “It’s the Music Cupid!”.

Yuzima sticks to his maverick approach of recording, Handling the production and playing all of the instruments himself. On “Get it Up”, he pounds personally tweaked synths and play’s screeching electric guitars over a breakneck drumbeat singing or rather commanding a love interest to “get into it” and “get it up”.

“Get it up” is an electro funk rock wave-up, inspired by the The Rolling Stones.

While “It’s the music’s” is Yuzima’s answer to today’s radio pop with a shout along chorus showcasing his harmonious production.

“It’s Wonderful!” has yet to be given an release date.
