Carson Kressley Calls Indie-Pop Singers New Music Video “Fun…Sexy”
On May 12, 2010, Greenwich Village indie pop singer, Yuzima released his debut video for Manic, the current single from his debut album Its Wonderful, and props have already started pouring in, specifically from New York City celebrities. TV personality, and star of new ABC series, True Beauty (which debuted last night), Carson Kressley called it “Fun… Sexy”, socialite Tatiana Platt said she “loved (the) video” and added it and Yuzima to her high profile Fame Game website, while fashion impresario and designer of the ubiquitous Save Anna t-shirt Christopher Lee Suave, called Its Wonderful a “Must Have”.
These quotes are on top of blurbs from other New Yorkers of note like dance floor legend Lady Miss Kier and respected music critic Ernest Barteldes (New York Press), who called the album “Great Work”.
Manic is a fun video made on a diy budget and features Yuzima performing with downtown New York as the backdrop, the film was edited by Yuzima and can be seen on Youtube, while the album is available on itunes.
