In accepting an Achievement Award at Outfest, Los Angeles' gay and lesbian film festival, Jane Lynch, Glee star, praised the festival as vital for “the homos.” The award celebrates an actor's contributions to LGBT film and media.

Presenting the award were director Paris Barclay and Glee star Chris Colfer, who are both openly gay, On Top Magazine reports.

“We’ve got to keep supporting this festival,” Lynch said in her acceptance speech Thursday. “We all know how vital it is for us and all the homos, especially the folks outside of N.Y. or L.A., to see their stories told.”
