Gold’s Gym Gives Money to Org. Promoting Anti-Gay Politicians
Robert Rowling, the CEO of the company that owns Gold’s Gym, has donated more than $2 million to American Crossroads, Karl Rove’s organisation that works to elect anti-gay politicians, according to website Change.org. Rowling is the head of TRT Holdings, which owns the chain of gyms, popular with LGBT people across the nation, and is one of several people who are helping to get Rove’s organisation running.
ILGA-Europe publishes a manual “Make It Work: Six steps to effective LGBT human rights advocacy”
Producing such a manual is part of ILGA-Europe’s work on strengthening and improving the capacity of LGBT organisations across Europe. The need for such a tool was identified some time ago within the framework of our PRECIS project.
