TLA Releasing acquires The Sex Of The Angels
TLA Releasing has acquired all UK rights for Xavier Villaverde’s sexy Spanish drama The Sex Of The Angels, which will open the London Spanish Film festival at Ciné Lumière on September 28.
Carla (Astrid Bergès-Frisbey) and Bruno (Llorenç González) are a passionate, young couple living in Barcelona. Rai (Álvaro Cervantes) is a charismatic and mysterious dancer and martial arts teacher who moves from city to city and from one love affair to another. When the three of them meet, an unusual triangle of intense attraction creates a sexy but turbulent time for the trio of lovers. The Sex Of The Angels creates a fresh, modern look at the possibilities beyond the usual relationship conventions.
