The Hacienda’s Graeme Park, Hed Kandi and Paradise Factory DJ’s added to Big Weekend Saturday night ‘Manchester Pride All-Stars’ stage.
Former Hacienda resident Graeme Park has been confirmed for the electrifying Saturday night ‘Manchester Pride All-Stars’ bill in the Gaydio Dance Arena, alongside up-and-coming and established DJ talent from across the globe.
Graeme Park spent eight years as one of the Hacienda’s resident DJ’s, moving from Friday’s groundbreaking ‘Nude’ nights with M People’s Mike Pickering to partnering Tom Wainwright on Saturday. Now a renowned producer and broadcaster, including a weekly show for Gaydio, Graeme Park played the Hacienda’s 30th Anniversary celebrations last year, and continues to be an ambassador for the pioneering nightclub.
He is joined by Stuart Robinson of Paradise Factory and Federation, Phoebe D’Abo, global resident of international music and lifestyle brand Hed Kandi, and fellow Gaydio DJ Kriss Herbert.
Stuart Robinson plays the Gaydio Dance Arena before his DJ set at this year’s hotly-anticipated Paradise Factory 20th Anniversary party, which sold out within 2 hours of tickets going on sale.
Event manager Michael Lever said “Manchester has a rich and storied dance music heritage, and it felt only right that the Gaydio Dance Arena should reflect that. Each night showcases a different facet of the city’s club scene, from disco and classic house music to a more underground flavour, and we’re proud to welcome such a diverse and skilled selection of DJ talent”.
“With the full line-up still to be announced, we’re sure the Gaydio Dance Arena becomes a favourite destination for our visitors, and a highlight of the Big Weekend”.
Toby Whitehouse, Station Director of Gaydio added “We are obsessive about playing the very best dance music on Gaydio, so we are beyond excited to be presenting this fantastic new addition to Manchester Pride. It’s going be a great place to party over the Big Weekend, so make sure you join us in the Gaydio Dance Arena and help us blow the roof off!”
The Gaydio Dance Arena is open 20:00-00:00 Friday 23 August, and 18:30-00:00 Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August. Big Weekend tickets are still available at a price of £21 from manchesterpride.com/tickets
