A homophobic spat on a Dartford train travelling through Bexley spilled over onto the platform at London Bridge.

The British Transport Police are appealing for information after a number of passengers were assaulted and verbally abused on the Charing Cross to Dartford service on July 14.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail pending further enquiries until September.

PC Alexandra O’Leary said: “A group of men were travelling on the 9.50pm Charing Cross to Dartford service and were being loud and using foul language.
