In bed with Tom of Finland…
Here they are, the traditional textile industry, a Finnish company Finlaysonin with new Tom of Finland patterns.
Finlaysonin announced their new collection this morning based on gay icon, Tom of Finland ( Touko Laaksonen, 1920-1991) work.
The collection includes, among other things, satin bed clothes and bags, all of which, full of muscular, pinched leather outfits and peaked cap dressed men.
The idea for the new collection came from the Tom of Finland Foundation, which approached the President and CEO Jukka Kurttilaa.
“We loved the proposal”. This was the perfect thing to Finlaysonin, who has throughout its history been a brave and bicurious company. I can see this is the return to the roots of the company,” says Kurt.
He hopes that the Tom of Finland collection will remain for decades.
