Young man battered in ‘violent’ homophobic Halloween attack
Two men, one from Thames Ditton, have been arrested in connection with the homophobic attack in Surbiton in the early hours of Saturday (November 1)
A 21-year-old Leatherhead man was left black and blue after being brutally attacked while out on Halloween – by two men dressed in pink tutus.
Robbie Kingsford, was attacked outside KFC in Brighton Road, Surbiton, as he walked with an 18-year-old friend, whom he tried to protect.
Robbie, who went to Therfield School in Leatherhead before attending Guildford College, was left with severe cuts and bruises, two black eyes and swollen lips after he was kicked and stamped on the floor.
His father Brian posted a picture of his son in hospital on Facebook in a bid to help catch the perpetrators.
