Sir Elton John was described as “a Taliban” by Italian politicians – Roberto Formigoni – on Monday after criticising Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s opposition to assisted fertility.

And we all know Italy is not known to be the first in the row to give LGBT community equal rights, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise upon anyone and the reason Roberto Formigoni supporting Dolce & Gabbana – it fits his own politics. If it hasn’t he wouldn’t had care to take the time to do a comment on it at all. If Dolce & Gabbana was LGBT community’s voice – LGBT community wouldn’t have any rights at all. So we should be extremely happy that Dolce & Gabbana isn’t LGBT community’s voice. Dolce & Gabbana have even had a statement that they opposed same-sex marriage few years back. Roberto Formigoni and Dolce & Gabbana talks about freedom of speech – they can have their opinion and anyone can criticising them for their point of view – are also freedom of speech. Not to buy Italian and Dolce & Gabbana goods are freedom of choice.
