Arrivederci Rosa Directed By Flaminia Graziadei – International Premiere Culver City Film Festival
The Film Festival Doctor, Rebekah Louisa Smith, is launching LGBT short film Arrivederci Rosa on the international festival circuit this December.
The film is a gorgeous, dreamy short about two former schoolmates who meet up in London. Rosa is the whirlwind party girl, Andi is the wallflower. Over a wild, profound weekend they start to come into their own.
The film will have its international premiere at Culver City Film Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday Dec 5. The festival, in its second year, celebrates independent film in LA’s most diverse neighbourhoods.
“With its celebration of vibrant new voices,” say Rebekah Louisa Smith, “it’s the ideal launchpad for Arrivederci Rosa’s world tour.”
The film will then travel to Idyllwild International Film Festival in California. The short is a prelude to feature film The Rainbow Mix, a UK-Italy co-production in development.
“I’m delighted to announce that it’s playing in competition,” says Smith. “Director Flaminia Graziadei has won awards across Europe for her work. She’s the perfect fit for Idyllwild.”
