Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Cancel North Carolina Tour Dates Over Law Called ‘Anti-LGBT’
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have decided to cancel the North Carolina dates on their upcoming “Future Now” tour in response to the state’s controversial “bathroom bill,” which critics believe is anti-LGBT.
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas announced their decision in a joint Twitter message Monday.
“After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to cancel our Honda Civic Tour: Future Now shows in Raleigh and Charlotte,” the message says of their two performances. “One of our goals for the tour has always been to create an atmosphere where every single attendee feels equal, included, and accepted for who they are.”
