Light Gradient this weekend on OUTtv Sweden
A gripping and beautiful movie about two young men, Johann and Robin, in the vastness of nature. As the boys venture deeper through the countryside on their bicycle vacation, the movie takes more eccentric shifts.
Everyday events begin to take on a decidedly surreal edge. The couple enjoys a respite from the strange events when they happen upon a farm, where a woman named Grit welcomes them with open arms. Robin and Johann relax and enjoy the idyllic surroundings at Grit’s estate, but the two soon notice that Grit’s teenage son, Henri, is displaying a powerful curiosity about their lifestyle.
Rückenwind (aka Light Gradient) was an official selection at the 2009 Berlin International Film Festival.
