Princess Mary of Denmark has delivered the opening address at the European IDAHO (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia) Forum in Copenhagen on Tuesday.
The Australian-born crown princess welcomed European ministers, government representatives, and advocacy groups to the three-day conference on LGBTQI rights, now in its fourth year, and showed her continued support for the rights of same sex-attracted and gender diverse people.
“We must be united in the fight against discrimination [in the hopes of] a life of dignity for all,” she said, SBS.com.au reports.
