Cyndi Lauper : Donald Trump’s LGBT comments remind me of Hitler
Cyndi Lauper blasted Donald Trump during a Friday radio interview, comparing him to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
The 63-year-old singer/songwriter and activist told the hosts of San Diego’s Morning News she didn’t think the U.S. presidential candidate’s reality show credentials were enough to convince voters he should be America’s next leader, and she really took aim at Trump’s attitude towards the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender) community.
“The things that he says are appalling to me and shocking,” the True Colors singer raged. “I was so shocked when he started to talk about the LGBT community, when in fact, people… who did amazing work on his Celebrity Apprentice show were gay. You don’t talk about your employees like that ever.
