Swedish Same-Sex Couple Kalle And Erik May Adopt
For the first time a same-sex couple from Sweden got adoption approved in another country without any connection to the country.
“Yes, it does appear that we – two men – should be allowed to adopt a child from Colombia.” writes Erik and Kalle Norwald in a blog post on hbtqfamiljer.se.
The couple has for long wanted to become parents, and adoption seemed to be the best way. The most important thing was to provide a home, warmth and love for the child than focusing on the biology behind OUTtv Sweden reports.
