Astraea Foundation Executive Director J. Bob Alotta to Speak at Women’s March
Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice Executive Director, J.Bob Alotta, has joined the list of prominent activists, celebrities and movement leaders taking the stage at the Women’s March on Saturday, January 21st to offer her perspective on how we can continue to fight for equality and resist injustice.
With 1200 buses registered to attend, this march is set to be the largest protest of any incoming president in modern history.
J.Bob Alotta, a filmmaker, LGBTQI activist and head of Astraea, will use this moment in history as an opportunity to create an uprising of love. “Now is the time, not for us to shrink, but to galvanise and organise as a community that is immersed in love, justice and resistance against forces that seek to reverse progress and do us harm. I am marching and speaking on Saturday because standing still or moving backwards is not an option,” said Alotta.
